The line graph demostrates the cost of bananas in four different countries from 1994 to 2004.
Generally speaking, while USA showed an increase during the period in the price of per kilogram banana, other countries decreased in its cost. The lowest price of banana is in the USA whereas the Japan illustrated the highest. It aslo worth saying that between 2001 and 2004 Japan showed significant change.
The two necessary changes in per kilogram banana cost was in the France and Germany. In the beginning in 1994, the cost of per kilo banana was approximately 1.75 dollars and it remained stable until 1997. Afterwards, its price fluctuated till 2004. The Germany’s banana price was about 1.47 and it was also fluctuated until 2002 and illustrated stability next 3 years.
Another main change was in the Japan, in 1994 per kilo banana price was approximately 1.8 dollars and in a year it peaked in its highest cost by 1 dollars and untill 2004 it was uneven and demonstrated little bit higher price than 2.50 dollars.
In the USA per kilo banana price was 0.75 in 1994 and increased to its highest point about 1.2 and did not changed since 1996 but after wavering from 1996 to 1998 it remined same until 2004 into 1.1 dollars per kilo.
