Overall,Japan saw the most erratic changes in the cost of banana, while the USA experienced almost no changes in banana price.

In 1994,banana price recorded 2 dollars per kilos in Japan, while banana prices in France and Germany were 1.75 and 1.50 US dollars respectively. Unlikely to other countries the USA started the trend by 80 cents and then there was some rise in the 4 years after that the figures remained relatively unchanged until 2004 by 1.20 dollars. From 1995 to 2001 Japan,France and Germany saw sharp instability where Japan witnessed the cheapest cost in banana sales by 1.25 in 2001, while France boomed its peak by almost 1.75 dollars in 2001.After that prices in Germany plateaued until 2004 bu stable 1.25.Japan closed the trend with a bit more 2.50 and France by 1.75 US dollars in the costs of banana.
