Overall, it can be seen that Japan experienced the most fluctuations and had the highest price, the USA remained nearly uniform, while both France and Germany exhibited modest changes throughout the given time period.
According to the data, from 1994 to 1995 Japanese price of bananas per kilogram grew markedly from around 20 US $ to just under 30 US $. Subsequently, and prices have declined to their lowest point of approximately 15 US dollars in the year 2001. However, at the end of the period, the cost of bananas in Japan rose steadily to about 25 US $ per kilogram, which was the leading figure.
By contrast, there was a slightly similar trend in this value in France and Germany, which were approximately 16 USD and 14 USD in the year 1994, respectively. However, after 1998 price of bananas in France fluctuated substantially, becoming the highest out of all countries in 2001, at nearly 17 US $, and then the lowest in 2003 at just under 10 $.
