The line graph illustrates differences in patterns of clothing export from three different countries, namely Colombia, Japan, and Myanmar between 1999 and 2003.
Overall, the figures for the country of Myanmar witnessed some drastic fluctuations before eventually remaining as modest, whilst the rest of the two countries(Colombia and Japan) remained more or less constant, with the former country exceeding the figures presented by the latter to become the most dominant at the end.
Examining the data more closely, the quantity of clothing allocated for export had initially stood at 0 in Myanmar, before witnessing a negligible rise up to approximately $950m in 2001. Conversely, afterward 2001 the figures plummeted down below $400m while rebounding to see a slight rise up to $450m in the year of 2003.
As for the other two listed countries: Colombia and Japan, the monetary value of clothing exports from Colombia accounted for about $480m, which stood below that of Japan ($580m) in 1999. Whereas the value of clothing export from Japan hit a fall, the reverse was true for Colombia; the export from Japan fell in value down to $550m-the figure that is observed in Colombia at this time. Moreover, the value of clothing export from Colombia was followed by a rise till the end of the study period to amount to exactly $600, while Japan experienced an exponential fall down to $500m in 2003.
