The line graph compares the number of people in five distinct activities at a social centre located in Melbourne, Australia over a period of 20 years.
Overall, it is clear that the number of participants in film club and martial arts fluctuated throughout the years. Also, individuals that joined table tennis and musical performances increased, whilst amateur dramatics decreased.
In 2000, the number of people in amateur dramatics and table tennis were around 25 and 15 people, respectively. The people in amateur dramatics rose to a peak of 30 participants in 2005 before witnessing a dramatic decline to around 5 people in 2020. Conversely, in 2010, table tennis experienced a massive jump to approximately 55 people in the final period. Interestingly, both of the activities had the same figure of people in 2010, which was 20.
Subsequently, musical performances started to have participants from 2005 onwards, rising to roughly 15 of them in the next 15-year period. Martial arts had minor fluctuation for the whole 20-year period, at between 30 to 35 participants. Similarly, film club was the most popular choice for people to join. It remained relatively stable at 65 participants for two decades, with just a slight drop to 60 people in 2010.
