In 2000, less than 20% of the population of Melbourne played table tennis. Although this figure remained stable during a ten-year period, it rocketed from 20% to almost 40% in 2015 and above 50% in 2020. Alternatively, the interest in musical performances was gradually increasing from 2005, reaching the highest point at almost 20% in 2020.
