The line graphs shows the percentage of trains running late and cancelled of a train company over the period of 7 weeks from the first week of October to week 3 of November. Generally, both the data for trains delayed and cancelled experienced significant fluctuation over the time. Especially, the number of trains running late reached the highest in the second week of November.
The percentage of trains delayed had witnessed a slight increase by 10% over the first week, before it plunged to approximate 5% in the last week of October. Thereafter, the figure rose marginally back to 10%, then peaked at around 55%. Finally, the percentage dropped moderately by about 15% and ended at 40%.
The proportion of trains cancelled started at 1% in the first week of October. The period of the first 5 weeks from week 1 October to Week 1 November underwent a significant erratic behaviour between 1% and 7%. The number of trains cancelled soared to 5% in the second week of November, before it dropped modestly to 4% for the rest of the period.
