The line chart illustrates the rising rate in salaries from 1993 to 2003. It is clear that wages fluctuated wildly, with the highest rate of growth between years 1997 and 1998.
The percentage of growth started at 2% in 1993. In the next year, The figure experienced a considerable rise, and stood at 4%. After this little peak, the growth dropped by nearly 1% between 1995 and 1996. However, the trend changed, and with a dramatic increment growth rate of wages reached a high of 6% by the 1998.
Towards 2002 growth rate pattern was mostly downward, falling tremendously to approximately 3% in 1999. After climbing less than 1% in 2000, the figure experienced decreasing for three consecutive years from just above 3% to nearly 1% in 2002. Eventually, the percentage of growth in wages increased about 1% in the following year.
In summary, although the growth percentage of wages witnessed great fluctuations, but reached the same percentage as the initiation year by 2003.
