The graph illustrates the average years of schooling worldwide and in for different countries from 1940 to 2020. By making a quick look, we can see that in this period the average amount of years of formal education in the world has been increased by 3 times. But there are some countries with quite different score.
Russia has been having the highest score for last 20 years, but by 2020 Serbia has reached the same result. It is possible that Serbia will have higher score in a few years as it has been having the linear growing for 60 years while Russia’s score has not been growing since 2000.
