Overall, there is a dramatic decrease in employment in farming, fishing and foresting sectors. Whereas, a gradual increase in labor force for the sales, technical, and industrial field.

In 1930, the most dominant number of labor force was in the farming, fishing and foresting sector with around 75% of people employed. In contrast to this, a gradual decrease in trend can be seen until the 1970 where a rapid decline continued until 2010 with only about 5% of the population employed in these fields.

In comparison to this, a smaller number of employment can be seen in 1930 in the following sectors: industrial, technical, sales and office. Initially, the following areas make about 10% of the total workforce. And in 1980, a noticeable upward shift can be seen with around 18% of the workforce and persisted until 2010 with around 35% for the industrial and technical sectors, and 20% for the sales and office sectors.
