The line graph below illustrates CO2 release in metric tonnes per capita between 1975 and 2010 in four different countries.
Overall, it can be observed that Singapore produced the largest number of carbon dioxide in those years, while the other three countries, such as Vietnam, China, and Thailand, released a smaller number of CO2.
Singapore reduced its chemical emissions from 11 to 7.5 metric tonnes per capita from 1975 to 2005, but in 2010, the amount of CO2 released to the atmosphere increased to the previous 11 metric tonnes. Also, another country which increased its emissions is China. China released just under 2 metric tonnes per capita in 1975. However, in 2010, the degree increased to about 5.9 metric tonnes per capita.
Thailand also increased the level of emissions, like China, from 1 in 1975 to just about 4 metric tonnes in 2010. Vietnam is the lowest one. The degree of emission also raised from 1 to 2 metric tonnes in 35 years.
