There was a dramatically increase in the percentage of the group 16-24 London, from around 23% in 1993 to more than 25% by the end of the period. In addition, the second largest category was the proportion of joblessness from young people outside London. Standing at 18%, this figure climbed up rapidly and reached its peak at nearly 205 at the last year.

In contrast, the overall London without job stood at around 13%, 3% higher than the overall rest of England, at 10%. Ater 2000s onwards, the percentage of unployment from the total population in London experienced a slight decline until the end at 10%.
