Overall, expenditure on cell phone services increased significantly, while spending on national fixed-line services declined dramatically over the period. The international fixed-line services expenditure rose slightly and remained stable throughout the time.
In the year 2001, user spent the lowest amount on cell phone services near about $200. It experienced a sharp inclined in the next year around $300 and remained stable until 2003. During 2003 to 2007, expenditure on cell phone increased rapidly to $600 and it exceed the international fixed-line services spending in 2006. From 2007 to 2010 consumer’s spending increased steady in 2008 followed by a rapid claimed from above $600 to around $700 in the end on 2010.
The spending on international fixed-line services was approximately $250 at the start of the period, which rose gradually to around $325 in 2003. After experienced a slight declined in 2004, it remained almost stable just above $300 to 2010.
The expenditure on national fixed-line services was the highest at $700 among the all services in 2001. It declined dramatically in 2002 to $600, then fell slowly until 2005 to around $575. Again, expenditure on national fixed-line services experienced a significant decrease from 2005 to 2006 at $500, and spending kept downing to $400 at the end of 2010.
