The lime graph illustrates deforestation rates in the Brazilian Amazon between 2008 and 2021 and the Pie chart provides information about the reasons of deforestation for the same periods.
Looking at the line graph first, it shows in 2008 the rates is approximately 40000 square km. but in 2009 it declined dramatically and reached nearly 25000 Square km. However, in 2010 it increased gradually but in 2012 it also fell slightly and the rate is under 25000. In 2012 it jumped remarkably and reached the highest point and that is nearly 437000. In the next year it also decreased minimally. From 2013 to 2015 it is declined slowly but in 2016 it reached the lowest point of the graph before 2021. In 2017 it also rose noticeably and reached nearly 35000 again. In 2018 it again fell steadily and 2019 and 2020 it is leveled off. Finally in 2021 it reached 20000 and that is the lowest rate of the graph.
On the other hand the Pie chart delineates that why deforestation is going in Amazon. The major reason small holder agriculture, which is 35% and second highest Cause is cattle Pantone which is 25%. Lange scale agriculture and logging is near and which are 20% and 15% and other reason is 5% which is not mention.
Overall, it is clean that deforestation rates are fluctuated from 2008 and 2021 and the main reason behind deforestation is small holder agriculture although others reason are not little percentage.
