Looking from an overall perspective, the rate in England and Scotland are quite similar, while this in Wales and Northern Ireland are almost identical. It is easy to see that, in 2013, England predominated in proportion of Female unemployment, while Scotland had the highest rate in 2014.
In 2013, the number of women without jobs in England accounted for 6.8%, which was registered to have the highest rate, followed by Scotland, with the percentage of unemployed women being 6.1%, that occupied the second-place rate in the same year. On the contrary, this rate in Wales and Northern Ireland was considered to be the lowest, with a moderate of 5.5%.
In 2014, Scotland was leading the figure at 6.7%, which was slightly increased by 0.6%, while others were registered to decrease in female unemployment rate, especially in Northern Ireland, from 5.6% in 2013 to 4.6% in the following year. England and Wales had the reduction in the share of unemployed women, with 0.3% and 0.4%, respectively.
