According to the graph, men consumed less fast food as they get older. The 18-34 age group had the highest rate, getting around 17% of daily calories from fast food.There was a significant drop, to just over 10 % between this group and the next, age 35-49. Then, there was a smaller drop, to around 9%, in the 50-64 age group. The oldest age group, age 65 and over, had a much lower daily calories rate, with just over 5% daily calories coming from fast food.
Among women, there was a similar decrease fast food consumption with age increase.Women age 18-34 got 16% of daily calories from fast food.Like men, there was a dramatical fall between this group and the next year, age 35-49. The oldest age group consumes far less, under 4%, than the other age groups.
In conclusion, a similar decrease in fast food with age groups for both and, although women tended to consume slightly more than men across age groups .
