The graph shows the use of public transportation by different age groups in two regions of a country in 2016. Over all, there was a contrast usage of public transportation among different age group. Moreover, as seen from the graph, the oldest age group in two regions used public transportation less
For the large city residents,the highest percentage of public transportation users came from the age group of 31-45 years old, who reached just under 70%. It is a stark contrast with the group of 61-75 years old. These groups were the lowest users of public transportation in this region which was about 10 % from the total population of the region.
The same trend happened in other residents’ locations where the oldest age group used public transportation less. with only just under 10 %. Different from the oldest group, the age group of 16-30 years old was the highest percentage of users in this region with around 25 %.
