The line graph compares the proportion of citizens satisfied with the healthcare systems in 4 different nations, namely Canada, the UK, the Netherlands, and the US, from 1991 to 2007.
Overall, it can be seen that satisfaction levels in the UK and the US increased slightly, while Canada witnessed a significant drop. In addition, the Netherlands overtook Canada in 1998 to become the country with the highest satisfaction level for the rest of the period.
In 1991, Canada held the highest satisfaction rate at approximately 60%. However, this figure plummeted to nearly 20% in 1998, before making a remarkable recovery in 40% in 2007. On the other hand, the Netherlands stood at just under 50% in 1991 and remained relatively stable throughout the period.
Turning to the remaining countries, the UK started at just over 20%, then increased gradually to nearly 30% in 2007. The United States consistently recorded the lowest satisfaction levels, with only around 10% throughout the surveyed time.
