Overall, it is clear that people of all ages visiting the gym witnessed an upward trend, except the 46-65 group age.
In 1984, the youngest stage among others accounted for nearly 15% while the figure for 26-45 group age was twice as high as that of 18-25 people. After 19 years, the former experienced a significant increase, at approximately 65 %. In contrast, the latter reached a peak of nearly 55%, despite there was a slight fall to around 35% in 1994.
Regarding other group ages, the percentage of people in 46-65 stood at 25% which was larger than 20% compared to over 65 age group in 1984. At the end of the period, The number of 46-65 age decreased substantially to nearly 15% whilst over 65 age had a gradual climb, at only 15%.
