As for the other groups, 35-44years old visitors started at about 7% in the initial year, and it was followed by a steady rise by 2006, reaching virtually 22%. Finally, the figure of 35-44 years old gym visitors increased dramatically to 40% in 2010. Regarding the oldest group, the percentage of people aged over 45 commenced at roughly 4% in 1990, before experiencing a gradual climb during the 20-years period, finishing at just over 20%.
