At 6 a.m., almost no one in the UK watched their television, on the other hand, more than 5 percent of the UK population had turned on their radio. The number of radio listeners continuously increased to a peak at around 9 a.m. with almost 30 percent of the people already listening to the radio, while at the same time, people who watched their television were around 5 percent.
