Overall, all the prices for the given foods followed an upward pattern over the period; although, changes in levels are evident.
It is clear that, prices for fresh fruit and vegetables, sugar and sweets and carbonated drinks stood at the same level of around 60 in 1978 and rose all together to just over 100 in 1985. In the following 20 years, although all their prices moved upward, Fresh fruit and vegetable illustrated sharper increase reaching approximately 325 by the end of the period.
Regarding the prices for sugars and sweets and carbonated drinks, sugars, and sweets climbed to 200 dollars in 2009 which was 50 dollars more than carbonated drink price that year. As for the consumer price index, it recorded an average path between those three types of nutrition and rose up to 200 dollars.
