The bar chart gives information about the amount of wind energy manufactured in four countries, namely India, Denmark, Germany and USA over two decades, from 1980 to 2000.
Overall, it is clear that the amount of wind energy in Denmark showed the most dominant figure at the end of the period, while there was a gradual rise in the wind energy generated by Germany. Furthermore, although more wind energy was generated by the USA at the beginning of the year, it saw a slight decrease towards the end of the period.
In 1985, India manufactured 200 megawatts of wind energy, then the figure increased noticeably during the fifteen years, with 400 megawatts in 1990, 800 megawatts in 1995 and 1200 megawatts in 2000. Starting at just around 220 megawatts, the amount of the wind energy generated by Denmark witnessed a dramatic growth until the end of the period. In 1990, the amount of wind energy in Denmark went up minimally to 420 megawatts, then the figure grew markedly to 1200 megawatts in 1995 and 1700 megawatts in 2000, which the dominant producer at the end of the period.
More wind energy was generated by the USA at the beginning of the year, and this was followed by a significant rise to 1700 megawatts. But this figure experienced a marginal fall at the end of the period, reaching 1600 megawatts in 1995 and 1500 megawatts in 2000. The amount of wind energy in Germany started just around 400 megawatts in 1985, then this trend saw a steadily increase during the period, with 650 megawatts in 1990, 800 megawatts in 1995 and 900 megawatts in 2000, which is a little wind energy producer.
