The bar graph illustrates the levels of imported coffee and tea by Canada, UK, USA and Germany in tones in the year 2007. Overall, it is clear that the UK and the USA saw the highest quantities in tea, while other two countries recorded the highest figures for coffee production.
Of all countries, there was the biggest import of tea in the UK, importing as much as 160k tones of this product. This was in stark contrast to its coffee import, which was eight times as little, at a mere 20k tonnes. This was followed by the USA, where a similarly high amount of tea (120k tonnes) was imported compared to coffee (40k tonnes).
In contrast, Canada and Germany led in coffee importation. Especially, Canada bought in a staggering 80k tonnes of this product, four times the amount of tea imported. This made this country the biggest importer of coffee among the other countries. In Germany coffee and tea import levels were almost similar with only a slight difference, at about 50k and 40k tonnes respectively.
