In a panoramic view, even though the UK imported the smallest amount of coffee, it surprisingly was the country of tea’s highest import. Meanwhile, unlike Canada and the USA, Germany has the balanced quantities between the two beverages.
In terms of tea import industry, the UK took the lead at around 160000 tonnes, mostly due to its tea culture, followed by the USA with a noticeable number of nearly 120000 tonnes. On the other hand, Germany lightly took interest on tea with its import number around 40000 tonnes, while Canada bottomed the list with about one half of that amount.
Shifting to the coffee figures, the UK only import about 20000 tonnes, the least in all four countries, while there was a little difference appears between the two coffee and tea figure in Germany, with a bit higher than 40000 tonnes for coffee which takes the lead. Notably, Canada and the USA following at about 40000 tonnes.
