Overall, copper’s price experience variations and remained the most stable compared to the other metals. Each three components tumbles in June the they start slowly climb their way back up. Moving forward towards the end of the year, all metals prices were the closest as it ever been.
Starting off the year, Nickel was the most expensive metal out of all three, but not long after, it plunges rapidly in the first quarter and dip to the lowest in June. Subsequently, zinc saw an upserge in the second month. It shows a minor decrease to -1% in June and the remained plateau for a quarter. Finally, starting at the number of 2%, copper shows a little shrink until May. Copper’s highest change of price was for the duration of three months, hitting 1% and the remained stagnant up to September.
Conversely, the figure for nickel, copper, and zinc never stood at over 6% throughout the 1 year period while these three elements’ price change never hit below -3%, and Nickel was the closest to the lowest point. Copper and zinc never saw as much frequent downward trend as nickel does.
