Overall, Athens and Barcelona showed a similar pattern throughout the month, with August being the hottest month and December having the lowest temperatures. Sydney, on the other hand, experienced the opposite trend to the European cities.
In detail, Athens recorded the highest temperature among the three cities, where it peaked at just above 31 in August. Similarly, Barcelona reached its hottest temperature at almost 28, in the same month. The average temperatures in Athens and Barcelona, dramatically decreased over the next 4 months, hitting the bottom at approximately 6 and 4 repectively. The rate of temperatures started to rise gradually between January and August, then they started to fall.
Sydney displayed a reverse seosonal changes in temperature. Its lowest temperature was in July, at roughly 14, and steadily increased towards the end of the year. After the gradual increase, the highest point was recorded at around 25 in december, just before declining again.
