The line graph illustrates about middle number of United Kingdom commuters travelling every day by car, bus or train between 1960 and 2020, over a period of 60 years.
Overall, there were downward trends in the number of commuters in UK by bus over the span, whereas the opposite pattern could be observed by car and train, decreasing significantly. Although, the issue of using car the highest figure in 1960 and by the 2020 it can maintained level.
Turning to details, we can see positive tendency in the figure of commuters which were used car in daily life. The number of commuter by car increasing moderately from 5 million to 9 million, which was the highest over the period. As well as the figure of commuters by train rose slowly from 2 million to 5 million over the span.
If we look commuters of bus, the reversing dynamic can be seen. The share of passengers by train decreased minimally from 4 million to approximately 3 million over the span, which was the lowest figure in the final year.
