The line graph given depicts the average number of British passengers transported everyday by three different means of transportation from 1970 to 2030.
It can be noticeable that both car and train usage tend to increase day by day. On the other hand, the number of people traveling by bus has decreased gradually.
From 1970 to 2000, cars were chosen as the most popular transportation, with approximately 5 million passengers, and continually increased to about 7 million after 3 decades. They were followed by buses, which were used by about 4 million people. However, the figure for bus users witnessed a slight drop of 0.5 million in 2030. Finally, Trains were the least popular choice, with 2 million people, but this number had a slow growth to 3 million.
In 2030, the number of people using cars can be predicted to remain the most popular transportation, with a considerable increase to 9 million. The figure of bus users is said to end at nearly 5 million in 2030. Compared to those two, buses will not be widely used in the future with an estimated number of 3 million people.
