The line chart highlights information about the amount of products that were produced in the forest industry in a European country over a two-decade period, from 1980 to 2000.
Overall, what stands out from the chart is that timber production was the highest in the initial year, whereas paper production was the highest in the final year. Another noticeable point is that there was a minor fluctuation in timber production over the whole period.
To begin with, the production of timber was at 6 million tonnes, and then it slightly rose to nearly 10 million tonnes in 1985. In the end, it steadily varied and reached close to 8 million tonnes in the final year. However, paper production started at approximately 3 million tonnes in 1980, and it significantly rose and reached a peak o f 10 million tonnes in 2000.
Moving on to pulp, production began at 4 million tonnes, and in the following five years, it marginally rose to around 5 million tonnes. After that, it declined steadily until 1990; in the next decade, it continued to increase, and reached 6 million tonnes in the last year.
