Overall, it can be observed from the graph that bike and bus were used to travel and from work have the similar trend of three years, while bus and car witnessed a disparity between each one. Additionally, car was the most different figures in 1960,1890 and 2000.
Initially, people who lived in European city used bikes mostly in 1960 at over 25%, which was higher than in both 1980 and 2000 at 22% and 7% respectively. Regarding to bus, in 1980 it was more engaged than in the last 2 years, accounting for over 25%, while in 1960 it was 20% and just only 17% in 2000.
By contrast, car and foot experienced a significant dissimilarity between the given three years. For car, the least common use was in the year 1960, which was just over 5% compared to 1890 the proportion of used car was 25% and in 2000 it reached a peak at 37%, the highest figures of four kinds of transport. Foot was used by individuals in one European city in 1960 was the highest different from bike, standing at 35%, while in 1980 and 2000 the percentage was only 17% and 10% in each order.
