Fluctuating between 6% and 38% until 2000, before climbing to just over 40% in 2005, where it stabilised in 2015. Basketball begin at 15%, dipped slightly in the early 1990s, then rose sharply to over 20% by 2000. After a brief declined in 2005, its increased steadily, and surpassing baseball to become the second most popular sport. Finally, Other sports stayed constant between 4% to 8% in 1995, from then it slightly dramatic fall around 5% in 2000. Subsequently, it increased up to 10% in 2010, and remained steady through 2015.
In contrast, Baseball and Hockey became less popular. Starting at just under 35% in 1985, Baseball support declined steadily, falling below Basketball in 2010 and slumped sharply to 17% by 2015. Lastly, there was a less dramatic decrease in Hockey sport between 1985 and 2015. To be ore specific, it stayed steady at approximately 10% until about 1995, after which it began to drop consistently until finally reaching 5% by 2015.
