In general, it can be seen that France experienced significant increase, while, with some fluctuations, Spain’s expenditure, finally, showed no change. Germany’s spendings showed fluctuations with overall rise. The UK underwent gradual increase. Also, it is noticeable that Germany and Spain have negative-proportional graphics.
According to the graph, over the period, France experienced considerable growth, rocketing from 20 millions in 1980 to 80 millions in 1992. From 1980 to 1992, the UK’s spendings underwent gradual growth with approximately same rate, growing from about 57 millions to 80 millions.
The moderate decline was noticed in Spain, in the period from 1980 and 1990, dropping from 60 millions to below 50 millions. The next 2 years, it showed slight rise, from less than 50 millions to 60 millions. In Germany, there was a sharp increase from 1980 to 1984, rising from 30 millions to 40 millions. The following 6 years, it experienced modest increase from 40 millions to about 47 millions. The last 2 years, from 1990 to 1992, there was a decline from 47 millions to 40 millions.
