Overall, it is evident that the individuals received their books mainly from bookshops in 2000, whereas more books expected to be bought from supermarkets according to the projection for 2012. Also, internet will remain the least opted among other options, as it was in 2000.
To begin with, in 2000, the number of books recieved via internet was 110 million, then the figure experienced a modest increase and reached to 150 million in 2008. By 2012, the number will gradually decrease and reach to around 135 million. Moreover, in 2000, books bought from the supermarkets remained relatively stable between 130-131 million, but then received a huge interest after 2004, and expected to increase its dominance by reaching 160 million in 2012.
On the other hand, between 2000 and 2008, bookshops lost their popularity rate and decreased from 170 million to 140 million, but after 2008, expected to demonstrate a moderate growth again by reaching around 155 million.
