In this graph we can observe the fluctuations between the years 2000 and 2020 in international tourism over three different regions, them being Asia, Europe and America.
It is noticeable that the number of international tourists in america has grown significantly, going from less than a hundred million vistors at the start of the century, to over four hundred million in just 20 years.
On the other hand, Asia and Europe have shown no mayor fluctuations. The chart shows numbers between four-hundred million and seven-hundred million visitors throughout the spam of 19 years, showing a minor decrease in 2020, falling to 600 million.
Europe is the least visited region by international tourist, with about 150 million visitors by the start of the century, and reaching almost three-hundred million in 2020. This can tell that it has been the more stable and less divergent of all three regions.
It is also noticeable how much the international tourism market has grown in the last 20 years, becoming one of the most popular activities in recent society. To conclude, America has shown the more increasing numbers, Asia keeps the lead in number of visitors with minor relevant changes, very similar to Europe, but this region ends uo being the least visited amongst international tourist.
