The line graph illustrates the number of foreign visitors to the coast, the mountains and the lakes in a European nation from 1987 to 2007.
Overall, it is clear that the figure for visitors traveling to three different areas had an upward trend; however, in the last period, the data of overseas visitors to the lakes decreased significantly.
In 1987, the number of foreign travelers participating in activities on the coast accounted for 40 thousands, and was the highest figure, compared to 20 thousands visiting the mountains. The figure for people visiting the lakes was only 10 thousand, and was the lowest data in the period.
In 1992, the number of overseas visitors to the mountains and the lakes had an upward trend, at 25 thousand, while the opposite was true for visiting to the lakes, at 35 thousand. From 1992 to 2007, the number of visitors to the coast increased significantly, at about 71 thousand and was the highest figure in the final year. The data of overseas travelers to the lakes reached a peak of nearly 75 thousand in 2002 before decreasing dramatically to 50 thousand. Meanwhile, the number of visitors paying to the mountains fluctuated slightly from 20 to 30 thousand, and was the lowest throughout the period.
