The line chart compares the quantity of foreign travelers to three distinct regions in a European country from 2987 to 2007.
In general, it is clear that the proportion of visitors coming to three areas were raised steadily. While number of international tourists explored the lake and the coast rose significantly, there was a slow fluctuation of tourists who going to the mountains.
In 1987, the figure for oversea visitors going to see the lakes stand at 10 thousand, was lower than two destinations. However, it grew dramatically in the next years and reached the peak in 2002, approximately 73 thousand. From 2002 to 2007, there was a drastic decline of explorers and there were about 50 thousands in the end of the period.
Of three districts, the number of foreign travelers coming to see the mountains and the coast increased gradually during the period. In 1987, the coast was more popular than others, around 40 thousand visitors and it was fourfold in 2007. The proportion of oversea explorers coming to the mountain fluctuated slowly between 20 and 30 thousand in the first years, before raising further to 40 respectively in 2007.
