The given line graph represents the number of overseas visitors to three main attractions which are the coast, the mountains and the lakes in a European country from 1987 to 2007. The data has been calibrated in thousands.
As an overview, the number of tourists in all three spots increased during the given time period. However, the coast was the main preferred area in both initial and last year.
Am in-depth analysis of representation reveals that in initial year people who visited the coast was 40 thousands which was the highest and the lakes were the least preferred that was 10 thousands. However, the number of tourists who visited the coastal area decreased gradually from 1987 to 1992 after that it showed sharp increase until the last year and reached at its peak point at nearly 75 thousands. Meanwhile, the number of visitors who visited the lakes increased gradually in the first thirteen years. From 1997, it started increasing dramatically and reached at around 72 thousands in 2002.
Moving ahead , after 2002 people list their interest in the lakes area and it nose dived from 2002 to 2007 where it intersected with the visitors of the coast and in 2007 the lakes visitors noticed at 50 thousands. Whereas the mountains visitors moderately increased from 20 thousands to nearly 35 thousands during the given period.
