The line graph compares three varied areas in Europe in term of tourism by amount of countryside visitors from 1987 and 2007.
Overall, the lakes area reached the highest peak by the numbers of overseas visitors, and the mountains remained at this level in whole duration, but finally the coast area was by far most important means of tourism.
In 1987 the coast started off with 40 thousands of overseas visitors, which was highest figures for coast area, and then second highest number of countryside visitors shown by mountains area, just over 20 thousands visitors. The lakes was came out the lowest number of visitors which is came from other countries.
Between 1987 and 1992, the coast area decreased dramatically to approximately 30 thousands of visitors. By contrast figures for lakes rose dramatically in a same duration, but numbers of overseas visitors in the mountains area maintained the same level. After 1992, the figures for coast area pattern is reversed, it increased from 30 thousands to 70 thousands visitors without any breaks in rest of the duration. In same way the lakes rose significantly from 1992 to 2002 which reach a peak of approximately 75 thousands of visitors and then after 2002 it suddenly changed to second highest level of among those areas, which was end off 65 thousands of visitors in 2007, But amount of overseas visitors in the mountains fluctuated over the period shown, while it increased by 10 thousands of visitors in whole period.
