The given line graph displays the number of people visiting the mountains, lakes and coastal areas in a European country between the time period of 1987 to 2007.

The proportion of visitors going to the hill stations remained stable throughout the given time period starting from 20 thousand in 1987 with slight increase upto 35 thousand in 2007. The trend for the visitors to lakes showed great disparity between the given time period.
Upon looking the line graph we can tell that it gained a significant rise in the first ten years touching the figure of 40 thousand people and getting the peak by even surpassing the trend for the visitors to mountains in 2002 with the maximum number of 75 thousands. However it went drastically downwards after that to the figure of 50 thousand people in 2007.
Overall it can clearly be concluded that the foreigners are more likely to visit the mountains of the European countries than the other coastal areas and lakes.
