Meanwhile, the coast area remained the most visited areas for the majority of the period, while the opposite can be said mountains.

To start with number of visitors to the lakes,starting at around 10,000. The figure experienceda significant increase untill the year 2002, peaking at about 75,000, followed by a decline to 50,000 at the end of the period. Meanwhile, the number of visitors to the coast made up 40,000. There was a slight drop to 35,000 in 1992,after which the figure followed by continues upward to 70,000 in 2007.

In contrast, mountains did not receive as many tourists. Being a runner up at 20,000 and growing to 30,000 in 1992, the number of visitors to mountainous areas fell to its starting point in 2007.
