The line graph depicts the population of people participating in different activities at a social centre in Melbourne between the years 2000 and 2020.
In the year 2000, most of the participants were interested in Film club with over 60 people participating in it. In addition, a number of people were also doing other activities such as Table tennis, Amateur dramatics, and Martial arts with the numbers being approximately 15, 25, and 35, respectively. It was only until the year 2005 that another activity started evolving which was Muscial performances.
Since its inception in 2005, its popularity has steadily increased over the years, with the participants being just below 20 in the year 2020. Talking about the most practiced activity, it has always been the Film club, with the participant number being steady at 65 over the 2 decades. On other hand, the other activities have seen some changes in their undertaking. Table tennis’ participants were just steady till 2010, after which its participant numbers took a sharp upward trend to around 55 in the year 2020. Similarly, the Amateur dramatics participant count also too a sharp turn in 2005 but instead, downwards, with the number being less than 10 in the year 2020.
As for Martial Arts, the participant count remained fairly constant throughout the 2 decades, at approximately 35.
