This line graph illustrates the number of people taking part in four different kinds of sport in a particular region in 1985 compared to 2005.
Overall, we can observe that most of people in a particular region have played rugby and tennis. As a matter of fact, from 1985 to 2000, at least one hundred people were participating in those sports.
A closer look at the figures show that the number of people playing rugby has drastically decreased going from almost 250 in 1985 to fifty in 2005. However the number of persons playing Tennis has significantly increased going from 150 in 1985 to almost 250 in 2005.
Those evolutions can be compared with two different kinds of sport that remained steady throughout the years. As we can see, Basketball and Badminton have neither increased or decreased drastically between 1985 and 2005 highliting the fact that over the decades, Tennis and Rugby seems to still be the popular sport in that region.
