All in all, the number of closures increased over the given period, despite the whooping decline in 2015. The quantity of new shops openings dramatically decline it from 8,500 to 3,000 in 8 years.
The quantity of opened shops was peaking in 2011 (8,500) and suddenly dropped to 4,000 in the following year. Fortunately, in the next two years the number of new shops rose 1000 yearly, becoming above 6000 in 2014. However, the 2015-year’s rates went back to 2012-year’s numbers and remained unchanged the next 3 years. Finally, it is the demonstrated the lowest number(3.000) in 2018.
In contrast to openings, the closures fluctuated widely. In the first two-years it levelled off between 6,400 between 5,900, respectively. Over 1000 shops were closed again in 2013 and the number of closures dramatically crashed down to 500 in 2015. However, in the following year it jumped to 5,000 and flattened out till the end of the period.
