Overall, total visitors maintained a consistent upward trend, while the number of visitors staying on cruise ships and island oscillated throughout the years.
Firstly, the number of visitors staying on cruise ships lagged behind in comparison to the visitors staying on island, marking below the 0.5 million, which is the least number of tourists. However, after a fall in 2012, the figure for the number of visitors in cruise ships was that it experienced a considerable surge, reaching 2 million, exceeded the number of tourists staying on island. To sum up, even though the number of visitors staying on cruise ships was behind at the begging, it showed a substantial growth in the future.
Secondly, despite the fact that the number of visitors staying on island was higher than the number of visitors staying on cruise ships, it was supraased by the number of tourists staying on cruise ships in 2012, climbing 1,5 millions in 2017. However, there was an upward trend in the number of tourists staying on island till the 2015, fall happened in 2016, yet saw a moderate rise in 2017. While these two arrows swung up and down over the years, total numbers of tourists in Carribean island held a constant increase over the same period.
