Overall what stands out froom the bar chart is that there were considerable upward trends in the visitor of both MET in New York and National in China, while the number of people visiting Edo in Tokyo witnessed a considerable fall during the time shown.
As can be seen that 12 milion people visited MET in 2000 , then it fall dramatically a half and remained unchanged lasts 2 years. Subsequently, it went up significantly finishing at under 16 milion. In term of National museum of China, it started at over 6 milion, which is the lowest visitors of three museums at this point. After that, it was gradual rise at the rest of period and hitted a top at under 16 milion in 2005.
By contrast the quantity of people who visit Edo went in the opposite direction. From 2000 to 2001, it account for under 14 milion, which was the highest of three museums. Although, it was dramatic fall and hit a trough at over 6 milion in 2003, it recovered sharply to ten milion in 2005.
