A glance at the graph provided reveals some striking similarities between courses in percentages of Australian exports to Japan, the United States, China and India in the period from 1990 to 2012.
Since 1990 China and India have supplied approximately equal quantities of products until the 2000s, specifically from that period China has become the leader in exporting. The United States was providing around 12 percent of production in 1990. With sharply decrease in 1995 and 2010, the amount of the US produce has fallen by 5 percentage in 2012 from the 1990s. At the same time Japan exportations were declining gradually for the whole period and dropped from 27 percentages in 1990 to 18 percentages in 2012. China did not have any significant decreases and has remained a strong leader of exportations to 2012 with the major number – 28 percentage.
As can be noticed from the graph, from the 2005s Japan, the United States and India have approximately leveled off, Chinese course, on the contrary, was continuing to increase steadily.
