This graph depicts the percentage of households with different kinds of technology in the UK from 1997 to 2001. It is clear from the graph that from 1997 to 2001 the use technology in increasing in general.
According to what is shown in 1997 the percentage of households owning CD players is 60% and it is slightly increasing reaching 80% in 2001. Telephone owners in 1997 was 20% with dramatic increase just above 70%. 40% of households owned computers in 1997 and the line rose to become 70% in 2001. The internet in 1997 10% of the housholds were using it while in 2001 it reached to 60%. Last but not least DVD players, it is the only technology that showed a slight drop in 1997 from almost 30% to almost 10% in 1998 and then it gradually peaked in 2001 to 50%.
To sum up, this line graph shows the increase consumption of technoloy through the years studied in the graph with the CD players most used technology and the DVD players least used.
