The proportion of educators of the two genders across the departments of a specific university in 2021 is demonstrated by the bar chart.
Overall, 4 out of the 7 faculties consisted of more male employees, with the faculty of engineering having the most significant difference. In contrast, education was the department with women dominating by the most notable margin. Additionally, medicine recorded almost the same value of male and female workers.
In terms of the faculties dominated by men, around 85% of the staff in the field of engineering were men, resulting in the most remarkable difference of 70%. With respect of the department of business and science, both witnessed similar figures with male workers being at approximately 65%. For law, there was a 20% dissimilarity.
On the contrary, department of education had the greatest proportion of female workers among all faculties, which was at three-quarters. Regarding the department of art, 55% of the individuals working there were females. Finally, for the medicine section, the slightest disparity was recorded with males only being 1% less than their female counterpart.
