The graph below illustrates the percentage of part time workers from four countries in the period of 1980 until 2010. This report will be summarized by giving main features and comparisons.
To begin with, in 1980, France starts with 25% of part time workers. Meanwhile, Spain has around 30% of part time workers which puts Spain on a 5% lead from France. Then, in 2010, France had gradually increased the rate of part time workers significantly and now sits at around 85% which has surpassed Spain by 25%.
Moreover, in 1980, Germany starts with 35% of part time workers in the country. On the other hand Portugal starts with a mere of 10% of part time workers which puts Germany on a consirederable lead in the start. Skip forward in 2010, surprisingly Portugal has surpassed Germany on the amount of part time workers in the country, Portugal has significantly increased their percentage to about 35% of part time workers. Meanwhile Germany decreased the amount of part time workers to only 10% which now puts Portugal on the lead againts Germany.
